OVERVIEW Project Night Night has various volunteer opportunities, including internships in public relations, legal assistance, non-profit administration and other related fields. These opportunities are available to individuals sensitive to the needs of homeless individuals and their children and students working toward their associate, bachelors, and graduate degrees. The monthly commitment required will depend upon the position, the needs of the program, and the individual’s schedule.
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
Night Night Package Delivery to Shelters In the San Francisco Bay Area, Project Night Night is always in need of individuals willing to deliver assembled Night Night Packages to area shelters. Pick-up will be in San Francisco with deliveries to be made to various shelters in the Greater Bay Area. If you can help, please email us at Kendra@ProjectNightNight.org or call us at 415-310-0360.
Clerical Assistant Perform general office duties such as answering the telephone, filing, copying and data entry. There is no specific time commitment for this position, however, only daytime positions are available.
Public Relations Assist in the expansion of public awareness about Project Night Night. Individuals will help prepare and press materials to various media outlets. In addition, this position involves assisting with special events. This is an as needed position and it does not require a regular work schedule.
Shelter Coordination Research and contact additional shelters in need of Night Night Packages.
Individuals may volunteer for one or more of the above positions, or they may perform various special projects. We are also willing to develop positions and projects for individuals with special skills and/or interests that do not fall within the parameters of the above positions.
Internships Staff work with the student to design an internship that fulfills the school/program requirements and offers the student practical experience that will further her/his career goals. The following list is an example of the type of experience one might gain through an internship at our agency:

Project Night Night is always looking for college/graduate students in the San Francisco or Cleveland areas who have 6-8 hours a week to give to a great cause. Learn what it's like to grow a social enterprise while helping thousands of homeless children. The ideal intern will be exceptionally motivated, organized, and a delight to be around.
